State Department spox diagnosed with COVID-19 after attending UN General Assembly

Many in the Democratic Party insist that the only way out of the pandemic is through vaccination. However, that strategy makes less sense by the day.

State Department spokesman Ned Price has tested positive for COVID-19, Breitbart reported. Like others in the administration, Price tested positive even though he is fully vaccinated.

Price announced his diagnosis following a meeting with the U.N. General Assembly last week. He and Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with several foreign dignitaries as the administration grapples with the crisis President Joe Biden created in the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“After experiencing symptoms for the first time this morning, I tested positive for COVID-19 shortly thereafter, & will now quarantine for the next 10 days,” Price tweeted Monday. “I’m feeling under the weather but am grateful for the protection from severe illness offered by safe and effective vaccines.”

In July, a senior aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and another White House official tested positive for the virus despite being fully vaccinated, CNN reported at the time. This new revelation about another so-called breakthrough case comes on the heels of Biden’s insistence on universal vaccination for all Americans.

After receiving his third COVID-19 shot in nine months, Biden told reporters Monday that he expected life to get back to normal only as soon as 98% of Americans are vaccinated, Fox News reported. ” A quarter of the country can’t go unvaccinated and us not continue to have a problem,” the president insisted.

The administration continues to push for vaccine mandates, including the U.S. military and any company that employs over 100 people, The Hill reported. However, illegal immigrants are exempted from this requirement, leaving many to suspect these mandates could be politically motivated.

The fight against COVID-19 is ongoing, but Price proves that vaccination is not the panacea it’s being sold as. The virus is dangerous, but the tyranny excused by it is what is most troubling.
