Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams called for an expansion of the Supreme Court following the release of the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on Friday.
Abrams made the remarks during CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.

“I know how the law works, and it is not up to President Biden. This is a choice that has to be made by our both executive and legislative branch, but I do think that we have to recognize there’s nothing sacrosanct about nine members on the United States Supreme Court, but that is a long-term question,” Abrams said.
“What we have to focus on right now is the danger this Dobbs decision presents to the women in the state of Georgia and across the country,” she added.

The view may not be workable, but Abrams continues to push for packing the court despite the move being in contrast with President Joe Biden’s view.
The new interview may get people fired up about packing the court, but has no plan to actually make it happen.
