Stacey Abrams-linked group under fire for spreading voter law misinformation to students

Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who still insists she won that election, is apparently involved in a project that’s teaching some Georgia students that the state’s Republican administration is actively restricting their voter rights with new legislation that was passed last year to protect voter integrity.

According to the Daily Caller, the situation is apparently serious enough to warrant action from several House GOP lawmakers, who recently fired off a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger demanding to know what he’s going to do about it.

The concern comes in the wake of several thousand Atlanta-based public high school students being asked to attend a “democracy” class, Fox News reports, “hosted by the New Georgia Project, a voting rights group founded by Stacey Abrams with the help of George Soros that aims to flip the state of Georgia blue by registering young and minority voters.

Apparently, in order to accomplish such a goal, Abrams and those in charge of the class are willing to spread misinformation about Georgia’s new voter reform laws.

Fox added that a lesson plan from the class was obtained through an open records request, and revealed that the class “taught students that voter identification laws are ‘restrictive’ and make voting ‘more difficult,’ and that policies limiting ‘flexible voting options’ like mail-in voting restrict people’s ‘freedom to vote.'”

“Inviting our youngest generation to be active participants in the civic process is a necessary step to not only ensuring that we are training up the state’s next generation of progressive champions but also reaffirms our commitment to uplifting the voices of all Georgians,” New Georgia Project’s COO, Kendra Cotton, said.

Given the radical ideology, most of which is built on lies, being taught in the class, it’s no wonder Republican Reps. Rodney Davis of Illinois and Virginia Foxx of North Carolina sounded the alarm.

In addition to sending their letter to Raffensperger, they also sent copies to members of the Georgia State Elections Board and the chair and vice-chair of the Fulton County Elections Board.

Hopefully, Abrams, Soros, and the leftists involved in the propaganda campaign are stopped soon before they taint generations of Georgia voters to come.

Let us hope that they stop this nonsense, that Abrams & Soros is pushing. I hope these kids will read & educate themselves of what is going on, And stop them from brainwashing them.
