America went to war in Afghanistan to make sure another 9/11 never happened, but President Joe Biden abruptly pulled troops out of the country last month. Now some are asserting that he has no business at commemorations happening Saturday.
Nic Haros Jr., who lost his mother in the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City on 9/11, said Biden should not “show his face” this weekend, the Post Millennial reported. Biden is set to visit the memorial sites on Saturday in recognition of the terrorist attacks that took American lives 20 years ago.
“I am demanding that President Biden do not show his face at Ground Zero on 9/11,” Haros Jr. told the “Fox and Friends” hosts Monday. “It is now holy ground and I really don’t think he has a place there,” he said.
“It’s shameful for him, I think, to use the dead bodies as a political prop for his so-called victory lap. He is insensitive and he shows no compassion to the families,” Haros Jr. charged.
Biden recently signed an executive order to declassify some of the documents pertaining to the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, according to The Hill. Though he is touting it as a campaign promise fulfilled, the order and his presence at memorials are ill-timed considering the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan he initiated just ahead of the monumental anniversary.
“No Joe, no victory, we are now in the Afghanistan War 2.0,” Haros Jr. went on. “Those resurrected victims kept America safe from harm all those years. Biden must not dishonor their grace and patriotism. He has none,” he said.
“Interesting because on Saturday, Judge Jeanine called the president a liar-in-chief,” Haros Jr. added. “Today I call out Biden as the killer-in-chief. It’s not just 13 killed or the thousands of Americans and Afghanistan supporters left to die. I believe he is complicit in a coming genocide of Americans and Afghans.”
It’s been nearly 20 years since America went to Afghanistan to hunt down the masterminds and disrupt the terror networks responsible for the attacks on America on 9/11. Biden pulled U.S. troops from their bases and left the nation in the hands of the Taliban. He has undermined everything the war was fought for and thus has no business at any of the sacred sites.
