It's bad enough that the Chinese feel emboldened enough with the weak leadership of President Joe Biden in the White House to send sophisticated spy balloons over the U.S. mainland for adversarial surveillance action. 

It's even worse, however, that China also seems to be poisoning millions of Americans with the powerful opioid known as fentanyl, according to the Daily Wire.

Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, Republican Policy Committee chair, said during a recent CBS interview that the CCP has launched an all-out war on the American population by flooding the streets with killer doses of fentanyl.

Ernst explained how the Chinese labs create the chemicals needed to formulate the deadly drug, and how Mexican cartels provide the finishing touches and illegal transportation into the United States.

"The Chinese are selling these precursor chemicals into Mexico. Then the Mexican cartels are working on making the fentanyl and distributing up into the United States," Ernst said.

She added: "I think that the Chinese are intentionally poisoning America. And of course, the Chinese don’t want to assist us with this."

"When we see an adversary like China poisoning our communities, it’s very disconcerting," she added.

Ernst went to say that America's only shot at fighting back is to somehow work with Mexican authorities to stop the cartels from working with the Chinese. Such wishes are lofty, given the lucrative deal the two countries likely have with one another to keep the flow of the drug

"So we have to educate the American people. We have to work with our Mexican counterparts to push back against the cartel and the Chinese. We can’t continue to lose our youth to this fentanyl epidemic. It is extremely important that we push back."

The Daily Wire noted:

The report noted that the Drug Enforcement Administration’s top official recently told the network that there is a relationship between the Chinese chemical companies and the Mexican drug cartels.

Biden is living in an alternate universe.

Families can't afford gas or food—and they feel unsafe in their communities.

The border is wide open and fentanyl is killing people at record rates.

Clearly, fentanyl is a crisis being virtually completely ignored by the Biden administration, even though it kills more Americans than most other threats combined.

Only time will tell if we ever get a grip on the out-of-control flow of fentanyl coming into America, but you can bet that the Chinese drug makers and Mexican cartels have no intention of stopping voluntarily.
