Saturday mass shootings across US leave at least 4 dead, 28 injured

As the nation continues to grapple with serious questions about the root of gun violence, a series of mass shooting incidents erupted in locations across the country, leaving four dead and 28 hurt on Saturday alone, as The Hill reports.

In common law enforcement parlance, mass shootings are defined as events in which at least four individuals suffer wounds. As such, incidents of that later were reported to have occurred in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, and Arizona in the aforementioned 24-hour span.

The Saturday mass shooting that attracted perhaps the most national attention took place on a bustling portion of Philadelphia’s South Street late that evening which left 14 wounded and three dead, as local network affiliate NBC 10 noted.

According to Philadelphia Police Department Commissioner Danielle Outlaw, investigators suspect that one of the now-deceased men became embroiled in a fight with another man, and that dispute may have been “the genesis of the shooting,” and after the two started exchanging gunfire, “innocent bystanders” were caught up in the fray.

Police in Philadelphia noted that a separate shooting incident took place not far from the South Street area at roughly 11 p.m. that same night, and while 13 bullet casings were found, no one was injured.

A young teen girl in Phoenix died, and eight others suffered wounds when gun violence erupted at a strip mall in the wee hours of Saturday morning, a situation police officials attributed to some sort of fight at a party.

That event prompted Democrat Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego to declare that it “seems we can’t go a day without another mass shooting. Time has run out. Change must happen now,” echoing calls from the left to enact stricter gun laws in the wake of the recent shootings in Uvalde, Texas and Buffalo, New York.

As The Hill noted, Saturday also saw five injured in an El Paso, Texas shooting, as well as four more harmed in an incident that took place in Ecorse, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.

Despite the amplified calls for “change” events such as these tend to elicit from the left, the fact remains that all those bent on committing acts of brutality and lawlessness are unlikely to let new legislation of any sort stand in their way, and it will be the law-abiding, responsible gun owners in this country who will be wrongfully deprived of their constitutional rights.

I am creating an honest wage from home 1900 Dollars/week, that is wonderful, below a year gone i used to be unemployed during an atrocious economy. I convey God on a daily basis. I used to be endowed with these directions and currently it’s my duty to pay it forward and share it with everybody,
