Sarah Palin says she’d love to return to office

Former Alaska Republican governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said during a Wednesday interview that she would love to return to political office.

Palin’s remarks occurred during a Newsmax interview with Eric Bolling on “Eric Bolling: The Balance.”

The discussion included several topics, including COVID-19, with the former governor stating natural immunity has been shown to be “27 times more” effective.

When asked about running for office again, Palin said, “I would love to. I would never say never.”

Palin also spoke out on recent transgender issues related to biological men competing in women’s sports. She argued that allowing such competition was not fair to women.

The interesting comments could hint at a future political future for the former governor. Alaska’s Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski faces primary competition after voting to impeach former President Donald Trump, while the governor faces concerns regarding whether to endorse the senator.

The interview also continues to fuel speculation about GOP plans for 2024 as candidates begin to make moves in the coming months.
