Rush Limbaugh fans got to witness a dramatic moment as persecuted general Mike Flynn called into the Rush Limbaugh show today.
After fielding a call from the generally silent Flynn, Rush said he was ‘stunned’ to have him on the line.
The Washington Examiner reports:
“I’m told that we have Gen. Flynn on the phone?” Limbaugh began. “Michael Flynn, you are here on the EIB Network’s phone. Is that right?”
“How about that, Rush? Yeah, this is Mike Flynn. How you doing?” Flynn said.
“I’m great,” Limbaugh said. “I’m a little stunned.”
It turns out that Flynn was there for the victory lap:
Flynn, who was briefly President Trump’s national security adviser in 2017, called in to Limbaugh’s radio program after an appeals court panel ruled in a 2-1 decision to order the judge to accept the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss criminal charges against him.
The case isn’t over, because rogue judge Emmet Sullivan has control, and could further delay Flynn’s exoneration. But it’s a step in the right direction.
It’s hard not to feel Flynn’s joy and relief as the case comes to a close.
