The rumor of Vice President Kamala Harris being nominated as a Supreme Court Justice has spread across the internet.
“When they’re depressed, they bat down the Aaron Sorkin-style rumor that Biden might try to replace her by nominating her to a Supreme Court vacancy. That chatter has already reached top levels of the Biden orbit, according to one person who’s heard it,” CNN reported Sunday.
It hasn’t helped the rumor that Harris has had a historically low approval rating during her first year as vice president. A USA Today poll marked her favorability at just 28 percent.
28% approval rating for Kamala.
She’s going down with the Titanic.

Biden’s team may be looking just to stir controversy with the latest rumors. With Harris basically in hiding in recent weeks, there has been little positive to say about the vice president for the mainstream media.
Instead, the rumor of Harris making history as a black female justice is making the rounds. But it remains only a rumor, as the move would be odd in numerous ways.
First, no vice president has left the position to serve in the Supreme Court. The move would in some ways be viewed as a loss by Democrats, admitting her low level of popularity and inability to win as a future president.
Second, the vice president serves as the tiebreaker in the evenly divided Senate. She couldn’t confirm herself, which could lead to some odd decision making if the nomination actually took place. For now, we’ll just leave it as a rumor.
