Republican Michael Waltz says US will have to return to Afghanistan

Florida Republican Rep. Michael Waltz said on Thursday that the U.S. military will have to soon return to Afghanistan to fight terrorism.

The startling words were shared during a Newsmax interview on “Stinchfield” regarding terrorism.

“We’re going to mandate this through Congress,” he shared with host Grant Stinchfield.

“And, sadly, future American soldiers are going to have to go back to Afghanistan. I don’t want it to happen, but I think it’s a reality, to deal with al-Qaida and ISIS, that the Defense Department now says will be ready to hit us within six months,” Waltz added.

In August, Waltz said, “The blood in Afghanistan is ‘on Biden’s hands.”

Now he’s concerned with a return to Afghanistan, arguing it’s only a matter of time.

The GOP House member also condemned the president’s open border policies that he claims leaves the door wide open for terrorists to enter America.

The concerning interview reminds viewers the effort in Afghanistan may not be done yet as terrorists continue plans to destroy lives in the U.S.
