Reporters push White House coms director if Biden will pardon his son if he’s found guilty of crimes

White House officials would not confirm or deny whether there were talks of President Joe Biden pardoning his son, Hunter Biden, or his brother James, should their business dealings be found to have been illegal.

According to a report by The Blaze, when they were asked, communications director Kate Bedingfield said, “That’s not a hypothetical I’m going to entertain. I don’t have anything to add.”

When they were asked about the president’s knowledge of his son’s international business dealings and potential financial issues, Bedingfield provided reporters with vague and unhelpful answers that didn’t seem to engage with the question.

One reporter asked, “Is it your understanding it’s the president’s view that as he looks at all of Hunter Biden’s business dealings with his uncle, neither Hunter Biden nor James Biden committed any crimes or did anything that was unlawful?”

“We pointed to statements that were made in the fall of 2020 when we addressed these questions,” Bedingfield replied. “I don’t have anything additional to add from this podium.”

Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation since 2018 with a focus on potentially troubling business connections, broken tax law, laundered money, and potential violation of foreign lobbying laws.

“In October 2020, when the New York Post first reported on the contents of the laptop’s hard drive, the story was smeared as “Russian disinformation” by prominent legacy outlets,” The Blaze reported. “Then-candidate Joe Biden used these reports as a shield to dismiss questions regarding his involvement n Hunter’s questionable business dealings.

“However, now that the legacy media no longer has an aversion to investigating Hunter’s laptop, for whatever reason, the Washington Post has confirmed that a Chinese energy conglomerate paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter and his uncle, James Biden.”

That presidential pardon should not apply to family members as that would mean someone could commit murder and be pardoned because he is son of president.
