Former President Donald Trump prepares to return to Iowa, where a new poll shows his ratings higher than ever, according to the Des Moines Register.
“Out of the daily spotlight and openly flirting with another White House bid, former President Donald Trump will return to Iowa Saturday with better favorability ratings than he ever saw while president,” the Des Moines Register said.
“The latest Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll shows 53% of Iowans now have a favorable view of the former Republican president and 45% have an unfavorable view — his best showing ever on either metric in the Iowa Poll. Another 2% are not sure how they feel about Trump,” the Register added.

The news comes both as Trump prepares to speak at an event in Iowa, and as President Joe Biden’s approval ratings have dropped following a failed military departure from Afghanistan.
In addition, Democrats continue to push a $3.5 trillion spending package, plus a $1.2 trillion infrastructure package that stands on top of COVID emergency spending and rampant inflation.
The border crisis has also been a sore spot for Biden, leaving many Americans angry, as well as desiring a return to the stronger border policies present under Trump.
The combination of Biden’s problems and Trump’s ongoing promotions have led to Trump looking better than ever to many Americans, including those in Iowa he is soon to visit.
