Report: Biden’s immigration orders will keep Americans unemployed

Most new presidents enter the White House with job creation as their number one priority. It’s never been more of an emergent issue than during the coronavirus crisis, but President Joe Biden just issued a slew of executive orders and policy recommendations in his first few weeks in office that seems to purposely kill off as many American jobs as possible.

According to Breitbart, there has been a lot of talk in recent days about American unemployment, especially as the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report indicating that millions of Americans will remain unemployed for the next three to four years. Adding to that waiting period will be a large number of American workers unable to land jobs because of Biden’s immigration policies.

“As the economy expands, many people rejoin the civilian labor force who had left it during the pandemic, restoring it to its pre-pandemic size in 2022,” the CBO report states. “The unemployment rate gradually declines throughout the period, and the number of people employed returns to its pre-pandemic level in 2024.”

The math looks grim for blue-collar Americans who simply want to secure gainful, full-time employment to take care of their families, especially as Biden works tirelessly to reverse a vast majority of former President Donald Trump’s immigration and border policies.

The effect of those reversals will be absolutely devastating for American job-seekers, as an Obama era-level influx of illegal immigrants will be looking to fill the very same jobs that Americans are currently hoping for.

Relaxed rules on foreign visa workers and holders of green cards will also compete with American citizens for job vacancies, which could theoretically push the CBO’s timeline back even further as the supply-and-demand rule for those jobs kicks in.

In an earlier Breitbart report, it’s clear that America won’t have a labor shortage for a long time to come, as some 17 million Americans are unemployed but very much want to secure employment. Millions more fall under the status of “underemployed,” which is mostly due to cutbacks and demotions because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adding to the growing mess is the fact that on day one of his presidency, Biden signed an executive order that killed off the Keystone XL pipeline project, which instantly deleted tens of thousands of high-paying job opportunities.

While Trump entered the White House with a mission to create jobs, it really feels like Biden is doing his very best to eliminate as many as he can.
