With no apparent concerns about the appearance of engaging in what some would label the sexual grooming of America’s youth, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the Biden administration is aligning with a far-left activist organization working to push progressive gender theory on students nationwide, as Breitbart reports.
Found on the CDC’s own “LGBT Youth Resources” web page are suggestions for teachers to explore materials sourced from the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network, commonly known as GLSEN.
According to the organization’s own website, the resources referenced by the CDC are intended to promote activism among youth populations and ingrain ideological concepts into curricula so as to boost “LGBTQ visibility and affirmation” into what is being taught in schools.
One of the aforementioned teacher resources is titled “Supporting LGBTQ+ Students of Color,” as Breitbart notes, and it tells teachers that they should “[d]e-center whiteness in LGBTQ+ history, inclusive curriculum, and visual representation” and to also contemplate their own “privileges and power” while using their positions to “advocate for both LGBTQ+ and anti-racist education training” in their workplaces.
In addition, GLSEN is an organization that champions the cause of biological men competing in women’s athletics as well as their ability to make use of bathrooms and locker room facilities traditionally designated for females.
As if those examples of GLSEN’s objectives – and the CDC’s active facilitation of them – were insufficient to condemn the Biden administration’s current trajectory in this realm, Breitbart recently reported separately that the CDC has urged LGBT youngsters to access a chat site that not only offered forums on topics such as gender reassignment surgery, polyamorous entanglements, left-wing politics, and the occult, but was also designed to be hidden from parental view.
The platform known as “Q Chat Space” is touted on the CDC’s own LGBT Health Youth Resources page, is reportedly targeted at kids ages 13 through 19, and includes discussions on hormone replacement therapies, gender affirmation surgery, and more.
Adding to the sinister feel of the site is the fact that the often graphic and politically-charged nature of the site also includes content in subject areas likely to appeal to a young demographic – including Pokemon, video games, and the like – and the fact that every section boasts a large, clickable button that reads, “Click/Tap here for a quick escape” and redirects users to Google’s homepage.
That this – or any – administration believes there is any justification for foisting these types of materials onto vulnerable and highly impressionable schoolchildren is evidence that it is grossly out of step with millions of parents in all corners of the country, and it is past time for the electorate to send that message loud and clear.
