California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters claimed in a Tuesday tweet that her account had been erased and she would “take care” of this.
“I have been hacked and my Twitter account has been erased. I know who has done this. I will take care of this,” Waters wrote on Tuesday.
I have been hacked and my Twitter account has been erased. I know who has done this. I will take care of this. M Waters.

Strangely, Waters posted the news on her Twitter account that seemed to be operating normally. Her second account @MaxineWaters also is open with no signs of problems.
It is unclear which account was hacked, if at all, and who Waters believes conducted the alleged attack.
Waters has long attacked former President Donald Trump and supported Twitter banning him from the platform in January.
According to the Daily Caller, they contacted Waters’ office and were told by a spokesperson, “We can’t comment on the Tweet, but, as is standard, we have open lines of communication with her office and have worked with them to ensure the account is secure. At this time, we’ve identified no signs of account compromise.”
The odd Twitter post may draw attention to Waters, but the information is lacking concerning the alleged event.
