Regis Philbin dead at 88

Long-time TV host and entertainment legend Regis Philbin has died at the age of 88, according to multiple sources.

The specific cause of Philbin’s death was not revealed, but his family noted in a statement that he “died of natural causes.”

Philbin gained fame as the co-host of a successful morning show on ABC called Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee. After co-host Kathie Lee Gifford left the show, he carried on with co-host Kelly Ripa.

Philbin is the winner of several Emmy awards and has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

I regret for his family, friends, and fans that he’s moved on — but he had a pretty good life for 88 years, and did well for himself …

We’ve lost another 60’s and 70’s Good man. Remember him and Bob Dale in San Diego as a child.

We are all on our way in our own time. It may not be everyone’s desire, but better than what this betrayal of the country I grew up in and the Pelosi Democratic Demons are destroying. I look forward to not being locked in by the Carona Virus and hopefully at peace and not having to worry whether other humans will break in my home or shoot me on the street in my car or while shopping. Oh what joy will fill my heart. Thank you Lord-peace at last!!

Well every one will die sooner or later, but to carry on about some TV person is just silly, I’m sure his family is sad, and maybe manufacturing companys and the products he shilled for may be miss for a few days but that will be the end of it.
