President Joe Biden admits probes into Hunter Biden will happen

President Joe Biden mocked the inevitable probes that would come from Republicans after they take control of the House of Representatives, Breitbart reported. Biden said Wednesday that reports of investigations into his son Hunter Biden's corruption and the president's withdrawal from Afghanistan are "almost comedy."

"Lots of luck in your senior year as my coach used to say," Biden said flippantly. He was taking a victory lap after the lackluster showing by Republicans in the midterm elections.

A reporter asked about possible plans for his impeachment with the GOP on the verge of regaining the House of Representatives. "I mean, I think the American people will look at all that for what it is – it's almost comedy," Biden said.

"I think the American public wants us to move on and get things done for them," he added. Perhaps they do, but there are many scandals that have gone unanswered in the Biden administration.

One of the most glaring was the withdrawal from Afghanistan in Aug. 2021. The abrupt pullout of American troops created an international catastrophe, Fox News reported.

The unrest in the immediate action of the exit killed 13 American service members. Afghanistan fell back into the hands of the Taliban almost as soon as the last service member left, squandering two decades of military might and resources.

An untold number of Afghan citizens who helped the American war effort were left at the mercy of the terrorist regime. Moreover, at least 100 American citizens were left behind in the hasty pullout with no plans to retrieve them.

Joe Biden will also have to contend with investigations into his son Hunter Biden. There is a veritable treasure trove of evidence of corruption from the younger Biden's abandoned laptop that possibly implicates not only him but also the president, New York Post reported.

Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed that he never discussed business with his son. However, several communications between Hunter Biden and others reference the "big guy" who receives a kickback.

The movement to investigate the Bidens has already picked up momentum following Tuesday's election. Rep. James Comer (R-KY), thought to the next House Oversight Committee chair, promised to share a report on the younger Biden's shady activities via the Treasury Department, CNN reported.

"We're going to lay out what we have thus far on Hunter Biden, and the crimes we believe he has committed," Comer said. "And then we're going to be very clear and say what we are investigating, and who we're gonna ask to meet with us for transcribed interviews. And we're going to show different areas that we're looking into."

Republicans are on a mission now that they're on the brink of coming back into power. However, Joe Biden's hubris prevents him from understanding what he and his son are up against.
