Poll reveals Biden’s record gas prices hurting Americans

A majority of Americans agree that record-high gas prices under President Joe Biden has caused financial difficulties, according to a new Monmouth University poll.

The survey asked respondents if gas prices haves “caused you financial hardship” and, if so, to rank at which level.

“Just under 4 in 10 Americans (38%) say that rising gas prices have caused them a great deal of financial hardship. Another 30% say it has caused them some hardship, while 18% say they have not experienced much hardship due to gas prices and 14% say this has not impacted them at all,” the survey reported.

“Those earning less than $50,000 a year are somewhat more likely to say rising gas prices have caused them a great deal of financial hardship,” the survey added.

“The facts are clear, & they stand in stark contrast to the false narrative that Putin caused high gas prices that the White House is peddling. The truth is that American gas prices have steadily & substantially increased over the past 14 months because of Biden’s myopic policies,” Tennessee Republican Sen. Bill Hagerty said.

The damage will also likely hurt Democrats at the ballot box in November, as voters express their desire for change in the House and Senate.
