More than half of Republicans believe President Joe Biden was elected as the “result of illegal voting or election rigging,” according to a new poll from Ipsos/Reuters released on Monday.
The poll, conducted between May 17-19, revealed many American voters agree with former President Donald Trump’s view that the 2020 presidential election was compromised due to voter fraud.
Trump responded with a statement on his website stating, “The lackluster Attorney General of Arizona, Mark Brnovich, has to get on the ball and catch up with the great Republican Patriots in the Arizona State Senate.”
The former president added, “As massive crime in the 2020 Election is becoming more and more evident and obvious, Brnovich is nowhere to be found. He is always on television promoting himself, but never mentions the Crime of the Century, that took place during the 2020 Presidential Election, which was Rigged and Stolen.”
Trump also wrote, “Arizona was a big part and Brnovich must put himself in gear, or no Arizona Republican will vote for him in the upcoming elections. They will never forget, and neither will the great Patriots of our Nation!”
Several conservative-led states have worked toward new voting laws to protect voting in future elections. Georgia’s new voting integrity law was lauded by Republicans, but labeled racist by many Democrats.
Activists responded with a successful cancel culture push to move the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star game from Georgia.
Despite attacks from the left, many Americans feel left out by voter irregularities. Most Americans from all backgrounds desire safe elections that will truly represent the votes of the nation’s citizens.
