Nancy Pelosi: Republicans will have ‘major doggie doo on their shoes’ over alleged election interference

Democrats are losing their collective mind over their trumped-up US Postal Service scandal, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) hysteria over the matter takes the cake.

In a Sunday appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Pelosi had a meltdown over the upcoming election, at one point claiming that the Republican party will have “major doggy doo on their shoes for a long time to come” for backing Trump through the USPS fiasco.

Host Jake Tapper asked Pelosi about allegations that Trump is undermining the integrity of the election, and asked if Democrats would accept a potential Trump win in November.

“Of course, but that doesn’t mean that we will not shout out against his initiatives, whether it’s to tie up the Postal Service so that we will not have the opportunity for people to vote by mail, not having to choose between their health and their vote,” Pelosi replied.

Pelosi fell back on the tired — and debunked — allegations that Russia is interfering in the US election with Trump’s blessing:

It doesn’t mean that we ignore the Russian interference into our election and they try to cloak it by saying, well, we look at many countries. The Russians 24/7 are interfering into our election. The president welcomes it. So, again, it isn’t a question of accepting the result. The question is, is making sure the public knows that they must vote, they must have a plan to vote, they must vote early because their playbook is one that has all kinds of obstacles to participation in our country.

She continued, “It’s so sad to see Republicans marching to this drummer. They’re going to have, as I’ve said over and over, major doggy doo on their shoes for a long time to come because they are complicit in his undermining the integrity of our election.”

Pelosi’s ramblings illustrate a growing desperation within the party to undermine Trump at any cost. The polls aren’t trending in a positive direction — for Democrats, that is — and Democrat conspiracy theories aren’t gaining traction like they used to, despite Pelosi’s best efforts.
