Pelosi found to have spent $500k on private jets in just over a year

Climate change advocate and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has reportedly spent around $500,000 on transportation via private jet, according to Breitbart News

The report stated that Pelosi spent these funds while claiming that fighting the “climate crisis” is a “religious thing” for her, according to a Fox News report on Sunday.

This information was from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) campaign filings which showed that the congresswoman paid Advanced Aviation Team over $437,000 between October 2020 and December 2021 and more than $65,000 to Clay Lacy Aviation.

“Private jets are notoriously bad for the environment, producing significantly more emissions per passenger than commercial flights. Pelosi’s campaign spent $67,605 on private air travel just months before she said she viewed tackling the climate crisis as a ‘religious thing,'” the report continued.

In September, the House speaker was called out for asserting that the United States should partner with communist China to work on climate change.

This is in spite of strongly supported claims that China is currently committing genocide against the Uyghurs:

“With their military aggression in the South China Sea, with their continuation of genocide with the Uyghurs in Xinjiang province, with their violation of the cultural… religious priority of Tibet, with their suppression of democracy in Hong Kong and other parts of China as well – they’re just getting worse in terms of suppression and freedom of speech.”

Pelosi said in her statement, “Having said all of that… we have to work together on climate. Climate is an overriding issue and China is a leading emitter in the world – U.S. too, developed world too – but we must work together. We have to have a level of communication – whether it’s COVID, whether it’s terrorism or whether it’s climate.”
