More than 120 retired generals and admirals have added their support to a letter stating the nation is in “deep peril” under President Joe Biden, warning that his deteriorating mental health “cannot be ignored.”
“Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776,” the letter states.
“The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty,” it added.
The letter concluded, “The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night.
“Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear-armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.”
Biden has faced several criticism regarding his physical and mental health during his short tenure as president. At 78-years-old, he was the oldest president elected in the nation’s history.
Others have criticized his numerous gaffes as evidence of being “mentally unfit” to lead the nation. He has also been widely mocked for falling up the stair of Air Force 1.
According to People, a White House spokesperson reported the president “is planning to have a checkup later this year, and the results will be made public.”
