Old video of Biden saying George Floyd accomplished more than MLK goes viral

A 2020 video of President Joe Biden that claimed George Floyd accomplished more than Martin Luther King Jr. spread across the internet as the nation celebrated a holiday dedicated to the civil rights leader. The video resurfacing has created an absolute nightmare firestorm for the Biden administration.

“Even Dr. King’s assassination did not have the worldwide impact that George Floyd’s death did,” Biden said during an event on June 11, 2020.

For 2022, Biden released a prerecorded speech in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day while staying at his home in Delaware.

“Living up to his legacy, and what Dr. King believed our nation could become requires more than just reflection — it requires action,” Biden said.

“That is why the Congress must pass Federal legislation to protect the right to vote,” he added.

The video will likely anger some who see King and George as much different in terms of impact. Others are upset that the president and Democrats used the holiday to focus on a voting rights bill rather than honoring the modern leader of the civil rights movement.
