Barack Obama’s former White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, just revealed that he believes that “something is not right” in regard to Democrat nominee Joe Biden’s cognitive health.
Jackson, who said he spent much time around Biden in the West Wing, said he’s seen major changes in Biden’s health since Biden departed the White House.
Jackson’s comments are found in Donald Trump Jr’s upcoming book, Liberal Privilege: Joe Biden and the Democrats’ Defense of the Indefensible.
Jackson told Trump Jr. that “The best way I can describe every time I see him [Biden] is that he’s just lost. “I won’t make any particular diagnosis about dementia … but what I will say is that something is not right.”
The physician was careful to stress the fact that he has never personally seen Biden’s medical records, but based on Biden’s pattern of memory lapses and gaffes, he is not comfortable with Biden potentially becoming president.
Jackson also made an appearance on Fox star Sean Hannity’s show on Monday to speak about Biden’s apparently deteriorating health.
Hannity asked Jackson if he believed that Biden’s mental state has worsened since Biden last left office in 2016. Jackson replied:
Well, you know, I think he has just lost his reserve, you know, as you get older. I mean, if you’d repeated knee trauma your entire life, at some point in your life, your knee would give out, and it wouldn’t work anymore. I think that’s where he is out right now with his cognitive ability.
And so, yeah, I know what the rigors mentally and physically are, basically occupying that office. I can tell you just watching him on TV, he does not have what it takes cognitively. I don’t even think physically right now to withstand the rigors of that particular office.
Joe Biden’s wife Jill went on the offensive against the growing rumors about Biden’s physical and mental health, dismissing questions about the matter as “ridiculous” during a Wednesday appearance on MSNBC’s “Today.’
Host Savannah Guthrie asked Biden to address an attack ad released by the Trump campaign questioning the Democrat nominee’s cognitive ability, to which Jill Biden replied:
It’s ridiculous. I mean, Joe’s on the phone every single minute of the day talking to governors who are calling him and Nancy Pelosi. He’s on the Zoom. He’s doing fundraisers. He’s doing briefings. I mean, he doesn’t stop from 9:00 in the morning until 11:00 at night. So that, you know, that’s ridiculous.
