NY judge orders the Trump Organization to comply with subpoena

A New York judge ordered the Trump Organization to comply with a subpoena from state Attorney General Letitia James by the end of April.

The subpoena requested information from some employees’ devices.

“I hope we are winding down this whole investigation,” state Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron said during a hearing Monday, per the Wall Street Journal.

“One thing all of us can agree on is we want this to end at some point,” he added.

Former President Donald Trump has claimed the investigation is politically motivated.

The frustrating legal battle is one among many Trump is involved in that has the potential to upend his bid to run for the White House in 2024. Despite numerous challenges, Trump has continued to find a way to overcome attacks and remain ready to move forward with another campaign.
