New political ad features 911 audio from Kavanaugh assassination plotter

Millions were shocked earlier this year when a California man was arrested and charged for plotting to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and a new ad from a conservative advocacy group will allow Americans to hear the terrifying 911 call made by the would-be assailant as he stood outside the jurist's Maryland home, as Fox News reports.

The spot was released in selected markets on Wednesday by JCN – also known as Judicial Crisis Network – and is entitled "Tipping Point," and in it, viewers hear audio of the dialogue between Nicholas Roske and Montgomery County officials on the day the assassination plan was to be carried out.

Jarringly, Roske is heard specifically telling authorities that he is in the area to hurt Kavanaugh, noting, "I'm just standing in front of the house" where the justice and his family were present, as the Washington Examiner notes.

During the call, Roske – described in the ad as a "liberal gunman" – declares that while standing on Kavanaugh's street, he was in possession of a firearm, pepper spray, as well as a knife, tools he presumably planned to use in the attack that ultimately did not come to fruition.

According to JCN President Carrie Severino, the ad will be airing in Georgia, Nevada, and Washington, D.C., and is meant to highlight what the group believes is a "disconnect" between voters in the two states and Democrat Sens. Raphael Warnock (GA) and Catherine Cortez Masto (NV), who the group believes are guilty of "overlooking the ongoing threats toward SCOTUS justices" coming from the radical left.

Severino explained, "We're hoping that it will encourage [voters] to put some more pressure on the government to enforce our laws protecting our justices. We think that these laws that protect our justices should protect justices regardless of what political party appointed them," an apparent reference to Attorney General Merrick Garland's unwillingness to enforce a federal statute prohibiting protests outside the homes of conservative justices that occurred in late spring.

In the ad's concluding narration, the group states that the planned attempt on Kavanaugh's life ought to have served as a "tipping point" for Democrat senators and prompted them to finally stand up to the pro-abortion "mob," but as the spot points out, lawmakers such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), among others, did exactly the opposite.

A tweet from JCN featuring the ad spot declared, "Democrats are putting the lives of Supreme Court justices and their families in danger by encouraging radical [protesters] and refusing to condemn the ongoing threats against the justices. Enough is enough. How far does it have to go before Democrats call for it to stop?"

Polling conducted by JCN revealed that over 60% of registered voters believe demonstrations outside of justices' homes are indeed dangerous to democracy and worthy of condemnation from President Joe Biden, and as such, the new ad appears likely to resonate with much of the electorate and will hopefully have a positive impact on the midterms come November.
