New investigation launched into Joe Biden's classified documents, total game changer for Donald Trump

President Joe Biden's actions may have ended any opportunity to indict former President Donald Trump over classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home.

Biden's former office was discovered to hold numerous classified documents from his time as vice president, showing that Trump wasn't the only one to take such actions.

The problem

“Attorney General Merrick Garland is notoriously cautious and does not like for things to appear political, and now that it has been discovered that Biden had classified documents in an unauthorized location from when he was vice president, the case against trump could be irreparably damaged, one expert said to a stunned CNN host,” Mediaite reported.

“We’re talking about political street fighting here that is going to go on, with control of the House now, at a fairly high pitch," CNN's John Miller said.

"And, you know, if you take the purely legalistic side of it and you get into the optics and the politics, what happened here is going to make it almost impossible to charge Donald Trump with any violation of classified documents,” he added.

The impact

Many leading GOP lawmakers are now speaking out against the discovery of Biden's classified documents.

"Biden stole classified documents and stored them at his think tank while he was VP," Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs tweeted.

"The VP does not have any authority to declassify classified documents," he added. "And this 'think tank' received $54 million in funding from the CCP."

Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton also blasted the information.

"Re. Biden and classified documents: there can't be separate standards for Republicans and Democrats," Cotton tweeted. "The same rules must apply to everyone," he added.

The new problem for Biden also comes just as he was reportedly expecting to announce his plans to run for reelection in 2024. The concerns add to other problems now being investigated as the GOP has taken back power in the House and look to investigate Biden and the Democrats.
