Nancy Pelosi still hasn't revealed what her future holds

Will she or won't she? That's the question being asked regarding House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) political career. Will she stay on, even if it means Democrats have minority control? Or will she throw in the towel when Republicans squeak out a majority victory?

According to Breitbart, nobody has the slightest clue.

Reportedly, nobody knows, with a recent report indicating that she "hasn’t informed anyone what her plans are. Or at least not anyone who’s willing to disclose those plans."

At a ripe 82 years old, she would be wise to call it a career and spend what little time she has left with her family.

The ramifications if and when Pelosi retires are absolutely massive.

It means a whole new playing field of moderate and radical Democrats jockeying for control of the party, even if for now, it's the minority.

Breitbart noted some possibilities of who might replace her.

"Several Democrats are rumored to covet her leadership position, such as House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC), Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Even CNN's Anderson Cooper, a favorite talking head of the left, couldn't get the old buzzard to talk.

"Well, I have to say my decision would be affected about what happened the last week or two," she told Cooper, referencing the midnight underwear hammer fight her husband, Paul Pelosi, had with a mentally ill, drug-addicted, hemp jewelry-making homeless man last month.

If Republicans win majority control of the lower chamber, which will hopefully be decided sooner than later, and it looks extremely likely, we won't have to worry about Pelosi one way or another.

But who fills her heels could be very interesting for the Dem Party's future. Only time will tell.
