Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene commented on the reported feud between Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor over Gorsuch not wearing a mask as evidence that the justice is “not fit” to serve in the Supreme Court.
NPR reported that all justices except Gorsuch agreed to wear masks to help protect Sotomayor, who has diabetes, from COVID-19 concerns.
The two justices later released a joint statement that reported the story was false and that the account had never happened.

But the news came too late for Greene, whose harsh criticism may stem from her own issues with mask fines in the House.
The congresswoman has strongly opposed the forced wearing of masks in the House, earning tens of thousands of dollars in fines as a result.

The latest updates from the justices should lead to some calm from Greene, but no word yet on whether the fiery congresswoman will release an update following the joint statement from the justices.
