"Biden arrived at his Greenville home Friday night. Late Saturday afternoon, the president was attending church at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Catholic Church in Greenville," Delaware Online reported.
Biden has regularly traveled to his Delaware home throughout his presidency, leading to strict airspace precautions in the area.
The concerns came as the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues with calls from some terrorists in the Middle East for global action. Several incidents have been reported globally in recent weeks, including in China and France.
The president's frequent travel to his Delaware home has also been a source of controversy, with more than one-third of his presidency reportedly spent on vacation or personal travel.
The latest incident posed no threat to the president but ended up as only a precautionary measure, showing a quick response from those assigned to protect the Bidens. In this case, the response was not only from the Secret Service but also involved aircraft assigned to the president's safety while in Delaware.
