Watch: Kayleigh McEnany demands Pelosi apologize for illicit salon visit

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) continues to take heat after being caught breaking her city’s COVID-19 rules to get her hair done at a San Francisco salon.

Pelosi attempted to blame the salon owner for “setting her up,” but White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany isn’t buying it, and ordered Pelosi to “apologize to the American people” for her outrageous hypocrisy.

McEnany torched Pelosi in her Thursday press conference, playing video footage of Pelosi breaking multiple rules during her illicit salon visit on Monday — the very same day Pelosi attacked Trump’s RNC speech for not properly following COVID-19 guidelines.

McEnany blazed that Pelosi “bizarrely accused” the salon owner of trying to “set her up” even though Pelosi’s staff set up the appointment that Pelosi then traveled to and willingly participated in.

Salons in San Francisco have been closed for indoor operations in San Francisco since the onset of the pandemic, and Pelosi’s weak attempts to pretend she was ignorant of the rules either disqualify her from public service or are an admission that she simply doesn’t believe the rules apply to her.

“Apparently the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi,” McEnany declared. “She wants small businesses to stay shut down but only reopen for her convenience.” Salons were given the green light to reopen outdoor operations in the city on Tuesday, but Pelosi’s visit was recorded on Monday, and she received indoor service.

“Nancy Pelosi, you ought to apologize to the American people,” McEnany continued. “Or better yet, come back to Washington and get to work for hardworking Americans like the salon owner that you maligned and demanded an apology from.”
