Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) stabbed President Trump in the back as he congratulated Joe Biden for winning the 2020 election.
On Monday, the electors of the 50 states cast their ballots, totaling 306 for Biden and 232 for Trump. The battleground states also slated alternative electors to dispute the irregularities, fraud, and malfeasance of the administration of the election in their states. The alternate electors enable continued action by them, the Trump Campaign, and other states to dispute the outcome of the 2020 election.
President Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and others are working on behalf of McConnell and the Senate to help elect Republicans John Perdue, and Kelly Loeffler in Georgia on January 5th even as the Senate signals that they won’t help President Trump.
Former prosecutor Sydney Powell and attorney Lin Wood have urged Georgia Trump supporters to stay home during the runoff to protest the GOP’s lack of support for President Trump’s election challenges, and McConnell just gave them more reasons to do so.
McConnell is in a tentative position and needs Trump supporters to show up and vote in the Georgia Senate races. He will lose his leadership position if the Senate runoff races in Georgia don’t go well for the Republicans. Millions of Democrat dollars are flowing into Georgia to elect the two Democrat contenders, Jon Osoff and Raphael Warnock.
The Republican support that formed around President Trump before November 3rd crumbled on election day, throwing his fair-weather friends and his true supporters into stark relief. McConnell was happy to support the president when it gave him a political advantage, but he is not lifting a finger to help the president and the country expose the election fraud of 2020.
The Senate GOP isn’t supporting the president’s challenges, but 106 Congressional Republicans signed an amicus brief in support of the Texas Supreme Court lawsuit suing the battleground states for election malpractice.
Unlike the Democrat party which has remarkable solidarity when it matters, the Republican party’s disarray is sinking the country. They don’t have what it takes to deliver America from the “fundamental transformation” of the Democrats and “the great reset” of the globalists.
