McConnell says he “cannot and will not” support Biden’s Supreme Court nominee

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Thursday that he will not support President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson.

“I cannot and will not support Judge Jackson for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court,” McConnell said in remarks on the Senate floor, according to the Washington Examiner.

“The most radical pro-court packing fringe groups badly wanted this nominee for this vacancy,” McConnell added. “Judge Jackson was the court packer’s pick, and she testified like it.”

Despite McConnell’s concerns, Jackson is still likely set to move through the Senate. “The numbers are still in her favor,” Robin Meade stated.

Jackson was evasive on a variety of difficult questions, but has already been confirmed on two occasions by the Senate, indicating she is likely to move forward again.

Conservatives may not like her views, but there appears to be nothing stopping the left from completing their plans to place Jackson on the nation’s highest court.
