Mayorkas to allow more migrants to use CBP One 'scheduling' app, up to 1,000 per day

The Biden administration is on the verge of making the immigration crisis at the southern border considerably worse.

According to Breitbart, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is "widening a semi-legal door in the border to admit 1,000 people per day — or 350,000 people per year — from Mexico, despite Congress’s cap on migration numbers."

The news comes ahead of the expected end of Title 42, which is expected to be a massive problem on its own.

Reportedly, Mayorkas is making the move in order to avoid a situation that was seen in Del Rio, Texas, when some 30,000 Haitian migrants gathered under a bridge and camped out until they were eventually hauled away.

The situation revolves around the CBO One cellphone app, which allows migrants to schedule "appointments" to be bussed across the border, thus avoiding arrest by Border Patrol agents.

To be sure, it also helps the Biden administration pad the numbers in a way favorable to them, as it doesn't have to report those numbers, which would be much higher without the app in place.

A recent statement from Mayorkas laid out the plan to boost the number of migrants allowed to use the scheduling system on a daily basis.

"CBP One will transition to a new appointment scheduling system on May 10 that will address previous volume issues around specific times in the day by making appointments available for 23 hours each day instead of at a designated time, allowing for more flexibility and access to the scheduling system …"

It added: "CBP [Customs and Border Protection officials] will also increase the number of appointments available to approximately 1,000 each day [starting May 12], and will prioritize noncitizens who have waited the longest."

Breitbart noted:

Mayorkas’s CBP One pipeline will vastly expand migration above the one million per year set by Congress in 1990.

Insanely enough, the app is also available for migrants who are still located in Central America.

To this day, the Biden administration swears that the border situation is totally under control and "secure," although anyone with eyes and ears knows the opposite is true.

With Title 42 ending within a few days, those hogwash statements might need to be retracted, as many believe it will result in pure chaos at the border.
