President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden abandoned his laptop at a computer repair shop. It turned out to be a treasure trove of incriminating evidence, but the man behind the discovery was roundly attacked.
Computer repairman John Paul Mac Isaac is suing several media outlets and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) for defamation, the Conservative Brief reported. Mac Isaac was accused of spreading “Russian disinformation” despite the authenticity of the laptop.
In October 2020, Mac Isaac gave a copy of the hard drive to the New York Post, which broke the story about Hunter Biden’s corrupt business dealings. The left was scrambling to discredit the revelations since this was just before the contentious presidential election.
News outlets like POLITICO, CNN, and The Daily Beast launched their ad hominem attack against Mac Isaac to downplay the evidence found on the laptop. The narrative repeated by Schiff, intelligence officials, and the media destroyed Mac Isaac’s life.
The man lost his Delaware business and was accused of participating in a Russian smear campaign ahead of the election. However, the laptop was absolutely authentic — as news outlets would later admit — leaving Mac Isaac in a position to defend himself.
Now he’s suing those who defamed him, hoping to recoup “at least $1 million in compensatory damages [and] punitive damages,” Mac Isaac’s attorney Brian Della Rocca told the New York Post. “He has lost his business, friendships, and his honorable standing in his community,” the attorney continued.
Mac Isaac said that he wants “the rest of the country to know that there was a collective and orchestrated effort by social and mainstream media to block a real story with real consequences for the nation,” he said. “This was collusion led by 51 former pillars in the intelligence community and backed by words and actions of a politically motivated DOJ and FBI,” he charged.
“I want this lawsuit to reveal that collusion and more importantly, who gave the marching orders,” Mac Isaac said. Between them all, he could see a multimillion-dollar settlement.
The active suppression of this story is the biggest cover-up in history for a political candidate. Unfortunately, those behind it also ruined Mac Isaac in the process — but now they could pay dearly.
