“Nicholas Roske … hereby moves this Honorable Court … to suppress any and all statements, admissions, and confessions (‘statements’) allegedly given by Mr. Roske, whether oral, written, or otherwise recorded, which the government proposes to use as evidence at trial,” lawyer James Wyda said in the court filing.
If approved, the change could make a significant difference in Roske’s trial that could result in his being sentenced to decades behind bars.

Roske reportedly shared the confession to police shortly after his arrest in June.
The judge may not look favorably on the request, but the decision could become the biggest deciding factor regarding the outcome of the case.
