Sen. Kelly Loeffler says she won’t end bid for re-election despite insider trading allegations

Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) just announced that she has no plans to quit her campaign for re-election, despite accusations of insider trading that arose early on in the coronavirus pandemic.

Loeffler came under fire after it was revealed that she had made over $20 million in stock sales after attending a closed-door Senate briefing on the growing coronavirus threat in January.

The embattled Senator denied having anything to do with the sales, saying that she does not control the activities of her stock portfolio.

She is currently under investigation by the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Several other Senators were accused of similar actions, including Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).

Despite calls for her to step down, Loeffler said on Thursday that “not only am I not dropping out, but I’m gonna win.”

“And no one’s going to intimidate me into thinking that that’s the right course for our party, for our state, for our country,” she continued. “I’m working hard to help reelect the president. I’m working hard to win my seat and keep the Senate in Republican hands.”

I do! No reason we should elect people who are so greedy. Our government leaders certainly
need cleaning up and out of office on both sides, especially the Democrats! We conservatives
also have a few bad apples. I say get them out!

Had this been a demonRat, nobody would have cared or even heard of it.

The media really needs to fire up the exposure of corruption involving Warren, Sanders, Klobachar, the Biden’s, Brown, Booker, Killery, Schiff, Pelosi, Schume, Cuomo, Garcetti and on and on, but that will NEVER happen. The media is, after all, the propaganda wing of the demonRat party.

Allegations are just that, “allegations.” I will wait for the evidence. However, you can’t condemn some legislatures and not condemn Obama and his administration and Hillary Clinton when they have done the same thing.

I agree. People forget about Pelosi and a few other Democrats who were accused of insider trading a few years back. I wonder why we never heard anymore about it. Cross led is as crooked is. …just saying.
