Kathleen Buhle, the ex-wife of Hunter Biden, has revealed the sordid details of her rocky marriage and other key information that may lead to more criminal investigations, the Conservative Brief reported. The memoir, "If We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction, and Healing," alleges Biden "spent money on drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, and strip clubs."

Biden and Buhle were married in 1993 and had three daughters, Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy. The couple separated in 2015 but their divorce was official in April 2017.

"When my marriage ended, I felt like I’d lost my sense of who I was," Buhle recalled. "Anyone who has seen addiction ruin a relationship, or been through infidelity and divorce, can tell you how devastating it feels."

"But what I also realized through those crushing experiences is that I needed to find a way to stand on my own," Buhle added. Meanwhile, Biden used their time apart to pursue his late brother's widow.

He later fathered a child with ex-stripper Lunden Roberts, with whom he is fighting to this day to reduce child support payments. However, it was Biden's other extracurricular activities outlined in Buhle's book that could lead to more legal troubles.

According to Buhle's memoir, the family had very close ties to Eric Schwerin, who may find himself tied up in investigations of Biden's shady business dealings, the New York Post reported. "By now, Eric had managed almost every aspect of our financial lives, so our relationship was an awkward one," she wrote.

"One born out of mutual need, perhaps. But I trusted him," she added. Buhle was writing about a social incident, but her admission about Schwerin's role in their lives is telling, considering new revelations from Biden's abandoned laptop.

In emails between Biden and Schwerin, it's clear that both the younger Biden and his father, Joe Biden, who was vice president at the time, had a cozy relationship with him. One email, in particular, revealed how Schwerin had Hunter Biden review a letter of recommendation that he was hoping the elder Biden would send on his behalf.

When Hunter Biden offered a tweak in reference to their relationship, Schwerin made it clear that he was no outsider. "That was one part I was unsure of — was trying to make sure the reader understood there was a real relationship that it wasn’t just a letter he was writing for a friend of a friend or something," Schwerin offered.

It seems there is also evidence that Schwerin handled many financial transactions and moved money for members of the family. This fact belies previous claims from Joe Biden that he never discussed business with his son.

Joe Biden made this claim in 2019 when then-President Donald Trump was accused of twisting the arm of the Ukrainian president to investigate the younger Biden, USA Today reported. "I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings," Joe Biden said at the time.

"Here’s what I know. Trump should be investigated," Joe Biden deflected.

Schwerin was also part of the team responsible for transferring Joe Biden's Senate records to the University of Delaware, where officials now believe classified documents were mishandled. Still, Schwerin has yet to be charged with any crimes in connection with the Biden family.

The tell-all book by Hunter Biden's ex-wife seems to have revealed more than just their marital woes. Still, the younger Biden hasn't quite suffered the consequences of his alleged crimes -- but that may be changing soon.
