Vice President Kamala Harris invited a group of illegal immigrants who have been raised in the United States as children to the White House on Thursday, telling them “this is your home” — once again affirming to American citizens where her priorities lie.
“I want to make clear to the DREAMers that are here, and to those who are watching from home,” she said. “This is your home, this is your home, and we see you and you are not alone,” according to Breitbart News.
“Many have been living recently, these years, a life of uncertainty even though this is the only country they have ever known.
“They deserve a pathway to citizenship,” Harris added.
The meeting followed a ruling last week that ended new enrollments for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program started under former President Barack Obama.
Harris told the young immigrants they were safe despite the ruling. The Department of Justice is expected to appeal the ruling.
“The status quo of young immigrants living with uncertainty between one case to another is just simply wrong,” Harris told those in attendance.
The meeting clearly signaled the Biden administration’s plans to continue developing additional programs to support illegal immigrants in the country. This is especially true for those raised as children in America who have the most widespread support politically as they were brought under no control of their own.

Liberal Dems, use your heads for something besides a hat rack. Make legal immigration much simpler and quicker and the border surges will diminish and the ICE agents will have a chance at controlling the drugs and criminals pouring over the open border.
