Democrats and the media have been blasting President Trump for supposedly sowing “disunity” among Americans. So one would assume that they’d have a little bit of self-awareness when it comes to partisan rage.
That would be assuming too much. In the latest example of political divisiveness, Sen. Kamala Harris charged into the Twitter fray, tweeting directly at President Trump:

Breitbart reports on Trump’s speech on Friday:
“We all saw what happened last week. We can’t let that happen,” he said of Floyd’s death, which sparked national outrage thanks to a bystander’s video showing a police officer pressing his knee into the man’s neck for nearly nine minutes, even after he stopped pleading for help and passed out.
“Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying this is a great thing that’s happening for our country,” Trump continued. “This is a great day for him, it’s a great day for everybody. This is a great day for everybody. This is a great, great day in terms of equality.”
Kamala Harris and the rest of the Democrats want Americans to believe Trump is a racist. But they’re having trouble because Trump isn’t – and so they have to make it up as they go.
Despite Harris’s implication, Trump has sharply condemned “sinister ideologies” and “racism, bigotry and white supremacy.”
“Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” he said during the eruption of violence in Charlottesville in 2017.
The Trump administration has championed minorities throughout its first term, overseeing the lowest recorded black and Hispanic unemployment rates. The administration also played a part in establishing opportunity zones and restoring funding to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Kamala Harris is angling for a shot at the Vice-Presidency. But she should be careful throwing stones at Trump.
While Trump has passed historic prison reform legislation and presided over an economy that has provided unprecedented employment for minorities, Harris has an ugly record when it comes to criminal justice issues.
