Vice President Kamala Harris is facing record-low approval ratings during her time as VP, and it appears that she is going back to somewhere she knows will appreciate her.

According to a report by Breitbart News, Harris and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff have gone to her home state of California for fundraising.

Deadline reported that Walt Disney Television head Dana Walden along with her husband, Matt Walden, are hosting the event for the vice president.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund, which is allocated to the Democratic National Committee and state party committees.

Breitbart News previously reported that only 35% of surveyed California voters approve of Harris’s performance, and 45% disapprove, according to a poll by the Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies.

A recent Rasmussen Reports survey indicated even greater disapproval amongst likely voters, with 56 percent of respondents saying they viewed the vice president unfavorably.

Since taking office, many Americans have considered Harris to have failed at her special projects, including the U.S.-Mexico border, which she has yet to visit. The Biden-Harris administration has allowed around 1.5 million illegal aliens to be set free within the United States.
