Vice President Kamala Harris continued to come under scrutiny as multiple reports in the past week have highlighted the vice president’s blunders.
An Axios report on Friday revealed a series of negative stories on Harris in the past week are showing the vice president another weakness alongside Biden’s gaffes in the White House.
White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain told Axios in a statement, “The President’s trust and confidence in her is obvious when you see them in the Oval Office together.”
But other reports aren’t as encouraging. A Politico story on Wednesday chronicled 22 current and former staffers speaking out on the “toxic” work environment under Harris.
In addition, the vice president’s recent trips to Guatemala, Mexico and El Paso included an array of embarrassing interviews. Most noted was her odd display with NBC’s Lester Holt.

The repeated negative publicity has made more people wonder whether she will be the best successor to the Biden White House.
Regardless of her future political plans, her recent criticisms reveal her role as vice president is under close scrutiny by both parties as they look ahead to the political future of America.
