Vice President Kamala Harris ranked as the top choice among Democrats if President Joe Biden does not run for reelection in 2024, according to a new poll.
The Hill/HarrisX poll found Harris received a 13 percent support among voters, despite recent concerns about her approval ratings.
Following in second place was former First Lady Michelle Obama at 10 percent.

No other contender ranked above five percent. Most respondents said they were either unsure (36 percent) or would choose someone not on the list (13 percent).
Others on the list included Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Michael Bloomberg, Andrew Yang and Pete Buttigieg.
Biden has said he plans to run for reelection. However, he would be 81 years old at the time of the 2024 election, making him the oldest president in the nation’s history.
The early poll reveals that no high-ranking contender stands out, while those who do include the vice president and the former first lady as top choices.
