Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas argued last week that the court cannot be bullied.

“We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want. The events from earlier this week are a symptom of that,” Thomas said.

The comments come after Politico published a leaked opinion by Justice Samuel Alito regarding a case that could overturn Roe v. Wade. The case could overturn the nearly 50-year precedent in a move that would mark a new era in the pro-life battle.

The outcome of the current pro-life case remains to be decided. If the leaked draft stands, decisions regarding abortion laws will return to states, allowing new changes regarding the pro-life battle.
