Fox News host Jeanine Pirro blasted Vice President Kamala Harris during her Saturday television program for her conspicuous silence after seven women accused NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) of sexual harassment, alleging that Harris is refusing to speak out for political reasons.
“But remember, a woman who couldn’t get 1% of support in her party’s presidential primary nomination, a woman destined to be president, many believe, in the very near future,” Pirro argued. “[Harris] can’t even answer a question about whether or not Andrew Cuomo should resign after seven women accuse him of sexual harassment and assault.”
“A woman who stands up for all women unless they are accusing a member of her political party unless it works to her political benefit…this is certainly not the kind of woman we need running this country as President.” #CLOSINGSTATEMENT pic.twitter.com/9Prc65Gg9M

Harris previously spoke out against sexual harassment allegations regarding Brett Kavanaugh, calling for his impeachment from the U.S. Supreme Court Justice. In contrast, the vice president has yet to address Cuomo’s growing list of victims.
In an interesting twist, Harris also previously attacked President Joe Biden regarding sexual misconduct when they both ran as candidates during the Democrat presidential primary.
“I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Harris said of Biden’s accusers.
Cuomo has also received calls to resign from fellow Democrats in New York. The state’s Congressional members and Senators have not both challenged the governor to leave office.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio agreed. “It is disgusting to me, and he can no longer serve as governor,” he noted in a press briefing Thursday.
Democrats have called for Cuomo’s resignation, yet Harris (and Biden) remain quiet. Pirro notes her silence in this matter is deafening, pointing to a bias protecting one of her party’s leaders.
