Jordan Hints at new Hillary Clinton investigation: 'Nothing Is Off the Table'

Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, disclosed he is willing to investigate former president Bill Clinton and former first lady Hillary Clinton.

During an interview with Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo, Jordan discussed Special Counsel John Durham's report on the genesis of the Trump-Russia investigation, as The Conservative Brief reported.

Jordan stated that the alleged targeting of former President Donald Trump gives many Americans reason to doubt future elections and government agencies, and he called for the arrest of those responsible.

“Do you want to see another investigation of Hillary and Bill Clinton? Because in the Durham report, John Durham wrote that while they were pursuing Trump, they made no effort to investigate the claim that Hillary Clinton was taking money from foreigners for her Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation,” Bartiromo asked Jordan.

“They not only didn’t investigate her like they did President Trump, but they also gave her campaign a defensive briefing!” Jordan replied. “They should have done the same for President Trump because they literally had no evidence.”

“We’re going to give that a good hard look,” he continued, saying that he would consult with his lawyers and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. “But nothing is off the table because it is critical the American people understand how their government, their agencies have been turned on them, the taxpayer, and we get all the facts out there.”

Durham determined that the FBI initiated its investigation into Trump prior to the 2016 presidential election using "uncorroborated intelligence" and that agents repeatedly failed to maintain "strict fidelity to the law" throughout the investigation.

The Daily Caller reported on Durham's findings, noting that the findings were related to the former First Lady.

It was revealed in the report that the FBI had received information indicating that Hillary Clinton's campaign had approved "a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services."

That was done with the specific goal of "tying him to Putin and the Russians' hacking of the Democratic National Committee" to divert attention away from her email scandals.

The report claims that CIA Director John Brennan mentioned Clinton's scheme (called the "Clinton Plan" in the report) in his handwritten notes, and that he personally briefed President Obama, President Joe Biden, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and FBI Director James Comey on it.

According to the paper, the FBI received the "Clinton Plan" while relying on the "Steele Dossier," a now-debunked research containing salacious charges about Trump's personal sexual activities that was, in fact, financed and pushed by the Clinton campaign.

Durham uses details from a meeting between former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, author of the Dossier, and FBI agents, as well as texts between FBI officials, to show that the FBI was aware of the evidence's connection to Clinton.

According to Durham's report , “neither U.S. nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement” of the probe.
