Joe Biden's lawyer misled Justice Department about classified docs at Delaware home

President Joe Biden's lawyer reportedly misled the Justice Department about classified documents at his Delaware home in November.

The controversy comes as multiple batches of classified files were found after an initial discovery inside Biden's Penn Center office before the midterm elections.

The details

"The leak of the scandal apparently caused Biden’s attorneys to resume searching his home for more classified documents," Breitbart News reported.

"The searches took place and unearthed more classified materials on January 11 and 12. At that point, a total of 25 classified documents had been found to be mishandled by the president," it added.

Six more files were later found in his home after a search by the Justice Department.

The problem

Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson pointed out the concerns regarding Biden's lawyer searching for classified records.

"The Justice Department has allowed Joe Biden’s personal attorneys to look for classified documents WITHOUT security clearances. How is this ok?" he asked.

"This looks like a MASSIVE coverup. Something BIG is being hidden here!" he added.

The concerns also grow when compared to the treatment concerning classified records allegedly taken by former President Donald Trump. His lawyers were not allowed to conduct a search.

Instead, Trump's Mar-a-Lago home was raided by the FBI in the search for classified records. Trump was also a president, not a vice president when records were obtained, a difference mainstream media has often neglected to note.

There are also many questions about the timing of the classified finds in Biden's Penn Center office. The discovery was first made on Nov. 2, but was not revealed until January. The hiding of the announcement before the election is certainly suspect, while others are uncertain who first leaked the story in January to make the news public shortly before Biden's plans to announce his reelection run.
