Joe Biden seen struggling to climb stairs to Air Force One after two previous incidents

President Joe Biden once again struggled to climb the stairs to Air Force One in Montgomery, Alabama, Sunday, the Western Journal reported. The 80-year-old has stumbled in two previous incidents leading some to question his health.

On Sunday, Biden tripped on the staircase leading to his plane following a visit to Selma, Alabama, CNN reported. He was there to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march to end voter discrimination.

During that incident, state troopers attacked the marchers as they made their way to the Edmund Pettus Bridge on March 7, 1965, and this became a seminal moment for the civil rights movement. Biden erroneously linked modern elections security measures to historical efforts to stop black people from voting.

“This fundamental right remains under assault," Biden claimed in his remarks. "Conservative Supreme Court has gutted the Voting Rights Act over the years," he said of new measures that ensure free and fair elections regardless of race.

Perhaps he struggled getting on the plane because he was overcome with the weight of his lies, but this isn't the first time Biden has stumbled. Early in his presidency in March 2021, Biden nearly fell as he tripped three separate times while boarding Air Force One.

At the time, the then-White House deputy press secretary blamed the weather. "It’s pretty windy outside. It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself."

The administration had no such luck explaining away another incident last month during a trip to Poland. The president again tripped on the staircase as he boarded his plane, and this has led to some questions about his physical and cognitive fitness.

White House doctors deemed Biden "healthy" and "vigorous," in last month's health report but did admit he has a "stiff gait," according to Fox News. Dr. Marc Siegel, a contributor to the news outlet, didn't buy the official explanation for a problem that could be tied to mental decline.

Biden's medical report said it was due to "peripheral neuropathy, meaning loss of sensation in his feet," but Siegel was not sure "where that's coming from" since there was no further testing. "They're basing that on a physical examination of multiple doctors but no MRI," he said.

"I don't see anywhere in there about an MRI," Siegel added. Noticeably absent from White House Dr. Kevin O'Conner's assessment was a test for Biden's cognitive or mental health.

Former South Carolina governor and Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley also commented on that glaring fact. Haley said any politician over 75 years old should be required to pass a screening before taking office.

When questioned about Haley's assertion, first lady Jill Biden dismissed such a possibility out of hand for her husband. "Ridiculous," she said in an interview, the New York Post reported.

“How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train? Go nine more hours, go to Ukraine, meet with President Zelensky?" Jill Biden said. "So, look at the man. Look what he’s doing. Look what he continues to do each and every day."

The fact that Biden can't safely make it up a flight of stairs can be a sign that he's just too old and addled to be commander in chief. However, Democrats will continue to prop him up and cover for him because they have no viable alternative.
