Joe Biden gets caught snapping at reporters: see the video

Mediaite reports that President Joe Biden "blew off" reporters on Friday during his vacation in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The President seemed to want nothing to do with the press and was even quite aggressive when asked if he would take questions.

Per Mediaite:

On Friday, the president spent time walking around Nantucket with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, First Son Hunter Biden, First Grandson Beau Biden, and First Daughter Ashley Biden. The Bidens shopped and had a late lunch, then attended a tree-lighting ceremony — all while being trialed by members of the White House press.

The outlet adds, "at one point, Biden was asked if he'd come answer questions, and he drew laughs by responding with an immediate 'No!'"

In fact, the encounter was caught on camera by Reuters White House Correspondent Nandita Bose. Take a look - and listen:

Not a lot can be seen in the video, as Biden and his family are only seen entering the restaurant from a distance. But, one could clearly hear Biden giving a stern "No!" in response to a reporter asking him whether he would be willing to come over to talk to them.

At least one reporter did laugh at Biden's interjection. But, because the footage is taken from so far away, one cannot tell whether Biden was serious or joking.

It would be far from the first time that Biden snapped at a reporter. Take a look at this report from Fox News.

Biden, though, on Friday, did end up talking to reporters later in the day. According to Mediaite, the president commented upon the World Cup game between the United States and England, which ended in a draw.

"I'd rather it be one nothing, but it's good. England is tough," Biden said.

One of the stories about this particular World Cup game is the decision of the English players to take a knee in protest before the game got underway. The U.S. players remained standing while the English players did so.

What exactly were the English players protesting?

Fox News reports:

According to the AS sports news website, at least three members of the team were demonstrating against discrimination and racism. The players were also believed to be making a statement about "inclusivity."

It is unclear whether or not Biden was asked to comment on the kneeling of the English players. Reports would suggest that he did not.
