Joe Biden doesn't mention any accomplishments in his reelection video announcement

This week, 80-year-old President Joe Biden formally announced his intentions to seek a second term in the White House.

The announcement, which was bizarre in the sense that it was released very early in the morning in the form of a pre-recorded video posted to social media, also failed to mention other important aspects of a reelection campaign, including listing even a single accomplishment since his time in office, Breitbart reported.

Anyone seeking a second term would surely first ensure that the people from which he's asking support understand why they would consider voting for him again. But not Biden.

Breitbart noted:

Instead, the video dwells on abortion (“personal freedom”), as well as “MAGA extremists,” whom the country must defeat in what Biden calls a “battle for the soul of our nation,” repeating a theme from his 2020 campaign.

In the video announcement, Biden also failed to outline a real plan for America moving forward. It probably shouldn't be surprising, since he obviously didn't have a plan for his first time around, either.

"Every generation has a moment where they have had to stand up for democracy. To stand up for their fundamental freedoms. I believe this is ours. That’s why I’m running for reelection as President of the United States. Join us. Let’s finish the job," Biden tweeted Wednesday.

Biden also used the video announcement to attack "MAGA Republicans," who continue to live rent-free in his mind, and the minds of millions of gullible Democratic voters.

"But you know, around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take on those bedrock freedoms. Cutting Social Security that you’ve paid for your entire life while cutting taxes for the very wealthy," Biden said in the video.

He added: "The questions we’re facing is whether in the years ahead, we have more freedom or less freedom. More rights or fewer. I know what I want the answer to be, and I think you do, too. This is not a time to be complacent."

"That’s why I’m running for reelection. Becuase I know America. I know we’re good and decent people. I know we’re still a country that believes in honesty and respect and treating each other with dignity. That we’re a nation where we give hate no safe harbor."

The president also failed to mention anything about the southern border, the fentanyl crisis, or any other major issues that most Americans are worried about.

Many don't believe Biden has the physical or cognitive ability to finish out his first term, let alone run another campaign and be able to complete another term.

He continues to age before the country's eyes, rapidly, and soon, his media and political allies will no longer be able to provide cover, as they've done for the first two years of his time in the White House.
